Welcome to Digital Systems Design Lab!
Digital Systems Design Lab (DSD LAB) is a research lab at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems (SICCS), Northern Arizona University exploring the design, implementation, and optimization of digital systems, post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, applied artificial intelligence, and error correction codes in both software and hardware.
We are looking for highly motivated students to join our lab.

5/2023: Dr. Nguyen serves as a Technical Committee Member of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society – Circuits and Systems for Communications (CASCOM)
5/2023: Dr. Nguyen serves as a Session Chair at the 2023 SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing Conference.
3/2023: Our research on hardware security is funded by the State of Arizona Technology and Research Initiative Fund (TRIF). Thanks TRIF for the support!
2/2023: Homomorphic encryption paper is accepted to IEEE ISCAS 2023.
1/2023: Our research is funded by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Department of Defense (DoD). Thanks ARL for the support!
1/2023: Our joint paper with Dr. Thang Xuan Pham and Dr. Hanho Lee (Inha University) is accepted to IEEE TCAS–II (IF 3.691).
12/2022: Multiple papers on post-quantum cryptography applications are accepted to SPIE DCS 2023.
9/2022: Two papers are accepted to IEEE APCCAS 2022 and ICNGC 2022.
8/2022: Our joint paper with Dr. Ngoc-Thang Bui is accepted to Biosensors and Bioelectronics: X journal (Q1), and two papers in collaboration with Dr. Hanho Lee are accepted to ISOCC 2022.
